NAB Announces New Leadership Team Following Completion of Recent 2026 Officer Elections

WASHINGTON, D.C., April 27, 2026 - The National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB) has announced the results of its recent officer elections, naming new leaders to help guide the organization’s strategic direction and continued impact along the senior living and health services continuum

In addition to Eric Hadley (SC) moving in the role of chair and Jennifer Johs-Artisensi (WI) who will assume the immediate past chair position, the following leadership positions have been filled for the upcoming term:

  • Denise Boudreau (FL) - Chair-Elect
  • Jonathan Thomas (NC) - Treasurer
  • Philip Jean (ME) - Secretary

Each of the newly elected officers will serve a two-year term, working closely with NAB’s Board of Governors, state regulatory boards and agencies, staff, and other stakeholders to support the organization’s mission of promoting excellence in long term care and protecting the public through effective licensure and professional standards.

All officers elected to serve have demonstrated strong leadership and commitment to NAB through prior involvement in governance and volunteer roles. The individual elected as Chair-Elect undertakes a significant six-year leadership pathway, serving two years each as Chair-Elect, Chair, and Immediate Past Chair. In this final role, the Immediate Past Chair also serves concurrently as Chair of the Foundation of the NAB, helping to advance initiatives that support professional development, research, and the future of the profession.

“NAB’s strength is rooted in the dedication and expertise of its volunteer leaders,” said Michelle Grachek, President and CEO of NAB. “We are grateful to these newly elected officers for stepping forward to serve and for their ongoing commitment to advancing NAB’s mission. Their leadership will be instrumental as we continue to support regulatory boards and agencies, strengthen professional standards, and promote quality care throughout the country.”

As the long term care landscape continues to evolve, NAB remains focused on ensuring that administrators are equipped with the knowledge, competencies, and ethical foundation necessary to lead effectively in a complex and dynamic environment. The contributions of its elected leaders play a critical role in shaping policies, programs, and resources that support both the profession and the individuals and communities it serves.

NAB extends its congratulations to the newly elected officers and appreciation to all candidates who participated in the election process. Their engagement reflects the strength and commitment of the organization’s leadership community.
