My name is Deb Veley, current NAB Treasurer, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in a new role continuing to advance the mission of NAB. NAB and its members do great work, and I want to continue to play a part in that work. My journey in the field of healthcare, specifically in long-term care, and my experience as a State Board Executive have deeply shaped my understanding of the vital role we all play in advancing the standards of our profession and the well-being of those we serve. I am motivated to serve in organizations I am involved with.

As Chair-Elect, I would be honored to work alongside all of you to continue to elevate the standards of care, improve the lives of those in long-term care, and strengthen the professional integrity of our field. I am excited about the opportunity to serve you and the profession in this new capacity. I am committed to supporting our Chair and the NAB Leadership team using a collaborative approach, and always with sincere respect for the mission and values that guide our work.
